The Purpose of this document

Made Tech is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you in accordance with UK Data Protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We are required under data protection legislation to notify you of the information contained in this privacy notice. It is important that you read this notice, so that you are aware of how and why we are using your information.

What data we collect: 

Data we will collect, with your consent:

• Information about your current voids statistics and process, via survey questions
• Information about your current voids works, via an uploaded spreadsheet, if you opt-in for this

We will be also collecting personally identifiable data, with your consent, on the following : 

• Your email address

Why we need your data

The information you provide in this research will be processed by Made Tech, Google and Airtable.

In brief, we are collating this information for the following reasons:

• Your email address: for the purpose of contacting you to e-mail you the result of the savings calculation. In this email, we also will offer you the option to opt-in to the mailing list and to discuss the product further.
• Information about your current voids statistics and process: to calculate the potential cost saving.
• Information about your current voids works from your uploaded spreadsheet: to calculate a more detailed estimate of cost savings

Our legal basis for processing your data

The legal basis for processing your personal data is:

• Consent

How we share your information

Your personal data will be processed and stored securely. Strictly no information identifying any individual will be shared outside of the product team.

Your email address will be stored separately and securely to your other data, and will not be passed on to any third parties, other than the ones listed below for data storage purposes. Your email address will be accessible only to the immediate research team.

Third parties with whom information will be shared are: 

• Google Drive: for the purposes of data storage.
• Google Sheets: for the purposes of data storage.
• Google Forms: for the purposes of collecting the information through survey questions.
• Google Airtable: for the purposes of collecting the information through survey questions.

How long we keep your data

We will only retain your personal information for as long as:

• It is needed for the purposes we collect it for. 
• We will retain any personal data you provide to us with your response within 24 months.

How we protect your data and keep it secure

We are committed to doing all that we can to keep your data secure. We have set up systems and processes to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your data - for example, by limiting staff access.

We also make sure that any third parties that we deal with keep all personal data they process on our behalf secure and in line with Data Protection legislation. Data submitted to Airtable and Google will be stored securely, outside of the UK.

Your rights

Your rights and access to your information 

You can withdraw up to 24 months after submitting your data. This will be when the data is deleted, in line with GDPR.

If you wish to withdraw it is important to explain how you do this and what this means.

• You have the right to restrict processing. This means we can still securely store your data we collect, but we can’t use it.

• You have the right to erase your data. This includes deleting personally identifiable data. Please read more information about when you can exercise this right here.
